Thu, July 17, 2008 - 9:02 PMThey may re air it or even have a uploaded tapping. It was pretty cool and they went into some great detail.
Who makes and how fire resistant underwear / shirts were made
Why girls use to draw black lines on the back of their legs
Garter belts
The first brassiere and showy corsets - plastic boning. I love whale boning. -

Re: On the History Channel (right now)
Wed, August 12, 2009 - 11:23 PMit's not made of whale anymore - that was used from appx sixteenth century to 18th. It's made of steel... that is just what it is called. Steel boning (whale boning) is now used to replace the whalebone and is made in such a way that it outperforms plastic corset boning.

Thu, August 13, 2009 - 12:42 AMHm. I just call that spiral steel when I order it.
Stays, I'm fairly sure, is just antiquated word for corsets.
